UAE is currently enjoying the status of being one of the most advanced and liberal country of all the Arab nations. This country has advanced lot in a very short period of time and is making progress every day. They are not reluctant to adopt any policy that is in favor or their country and the people overall. But it has been a huge problem in UAE and other Arab countries that they undermine the women in all the fields. But UAE is smart enough to understand all this and have started changing the norm. They do not want to waste half of the intelligent brains of the country by keeping them at homes and not letting them explore options for themselves.

It is investigated that Arab countries are so misogynistic that women can’t even drive in Saudi Arab till the starting of twenty first century. Many women did not have access to proper education and even if they get the proper education they were not allowed to work in the respective field of their expertise due to family restrictions based on common norms and also because of the male dominant and misogynistic policies. Women also had to face difficulty in getting jobs and even if they were selected they were not given chances to grow professionally and no matter how competent they are getting promotions were in itself a huge task. All these things have stopped the Arab Nations from progressing for many years.

That is why UAE is moving towards implementing the policies and systems in order to support the women around the country and do affirmative action for them. After this, now the government is inclined towards implementing policies that will affirmatively employ women and make sure that they are given chances in the dominating professions of the society. These include judiciary, diplomacy and business. These professions are largely dominated by men throughout the world but after the rise of women’s rights movements the scenario is changing overall. UAE doesn’t want to stay back and they have also made certain organizations that are working to promote women in all types of professions.
