Mara Jade
The Czech Republic seems to be getting a reputation as a haven for challenging instrumental guitar music, otherwise known as Post-Rock (and all its various sub-sub-genres), and it is well deserved. Mara Jade lie at the heavier, mathy end of the genre, and, even in the space of a 3 and a half minute song, are able to squeeze in enough twists and curves to keep even the most jaded fan on his (or her) toes. Power and precision in a tight, explosive package.
