Special tribute to the legend of African reggae
Lucky Dube in Concert Live
Screening to honour the reggae superstar whose music cut across racial lines and who contributed so much to reggae music in particular, and African music in general. Using music as a powerful weapon he contributed in bringing
apartheid down. He was murdered senselessly and tragically on 18 October in Johannesburg. Introduced by DJ Kaya from Radio 1.
After the screening, you can join a candle procession to Lublanska 39, Hush Cafe Bar Lounge and take part in the next event:
Remembering Lucky Dube and his music (start: 20:00) - please come with one stick of candle.
Event is organized by Humanitas Afrika, Hush Cafebar Lounge and DJ Kaya.
The screening starts at 6 p.m.
