TOXIQUE jsou českému publiku již dobře známým projektem, který se pro své komplexní propojení hudební perfekce a nadhledu s výpravnou výtvarnou show již dávno stal naplněním pravého významu sousloví "pop music". Kapela je díky svému osobitému stylu neodmyslitelnou součástí mezinárodní klubové scény a stálým hostem festivalových podií a televizních show. Veliké popularity dosáhla skupina také díky přesahům do světa módy a designu a neúnavným hledáním způsobů spolupráce se špičkami těchto oborů.

TOXIQUE AND the Najbrt Studio at DESIGNBLOK!
"Away with the couch!" proclaims Toxique, who, together with the Najbrt Studio are presenting a new image for the band and a
new merchandising collection “MOJEMOJE TOXIQUE” (mine mine TOXIQUE) at the DESIGNBLOK event – Tuesday 5th to Sunday 10th October, at
the MOJEMOJE TOXIQUE stand.
Everything being premiered at the launch of their new album “Outlet People” is new – from the costumes through to hairstyles, stage, lighting and projection – on Saturday, October 9th from 8 pm in Prague.
A concert will be held in the Superstudio at Designblok, Bubenska 1, Prague 7.
With the first autumn showers, the Czech music scene was hit by a fierce storm around the issue of a
new album by the band TOXIQUE. The eagerly-awaited album has not managed to get comfy on store counters yet and is already reaping rave reviews by music critics. TOXIQUE, who, along with their musical brilliance, attracted huge attention last year for their
imaginatively produced show with its spirit of second-hand fashion – have, this time turned their attention in the opposite direction. The new album itself is called “OUTLET PEOPLE”. The band maybe suggests that the way we knew it before is already on the sales racks and
fans should expect the arrival of a new collection "TOXIQUE - Fall 2010”.
To collaborate on their new image, they invited the gurus of Czech graphic art, the Najbrt Studio, and they decided to launch the new album “Outlet People” at DESIGNBLOK.
The Najbrt Studio and Toxique have prepared a special collection of music merchandise with the title “MOJEMOJE TOXIQUE” which they will launch on their stand at DESIGNBLOK. In addition to the standard posters, t-shirts, badges and CDs, it is enhanced by adhesive tape, lapel badges, masks, nylon jackets, LTB snowboards, special toxic soft toy, Botas trainers with a limited edition design BOTAS TOXIQUE, and as the icing on the cake, a two-coloured vinyl record in the shape of a hexagon with the TOXIQUE logo.
Last but not least, TOXIQUE will launch their new CD which was
mixed and mastered in the Biotech studio of Ecson Waldes and has a strong electro-pop feel. The band worked on it from January to September 2010. The entire collection will be available to buy from Tuesday to Sunday, October 5th to 10th at the MOJEMOJE TOXIQUE stand at Designblok, as well as at all band concerts, from these e-shops; www.toxique.cz, www.mojemoje.com, and ltbsnowboards.com and also from selected stores.
The official album launch will be at Designblok on Saturday, October 9th, where the band will present a brand new scene, costumes, light show, including a new
op-art project with a VJ.
Under the supervision of the Najbrt Studio
on the transformation of TOXIQUE, there were also collaborations from hair stylist Petra Měchurová,
photographer Václav Jirásek, stage and costume designer Martyna Štěpán-Dworakowska, stylist Maria Kohútik and many others. The main collection designers are Mikuláš Macháček and Bohumil
Vašák.
After the album launch, TOXIQUE goes out on tour. In addition to 20 Czech Republic concerts, they will also play O2 theatres in England - London, Glasgow, Liverpool and Birmingham - and in December they perform a traditional Christmas concert in Prague at the Palac Akropolis on December 1st, 2010.
