Luis Sanz is a Peruvian musician and installation artist based in Switzerland. Sanz’s works combine vocal techniques, prepared turntables, prepared guitar, audio visual instruments, feedback systems,
free improvisation, custom software, otoacoustic phenomena and signal amplification.
Sanz's actions seek to open a dimension where to generate a new sensorial space in the register of acoustic, visual and tactile perceptions as a form of transformation, of permanent reinvention of consciousness.
In recent years, his works are shown at international festivals including Borderline [PL], Volumens [ES], IFFR [NL], CTM [DE], Berlin Atonal [DE], Mira [ES] Moscow International [RU], Centras [LT] and Mapping [CH].
Sanz also works under the name of Thiula (soloist noise project, 2017 - now) and Noijzu (free improvisation duo, 2017 – now)
