Parting Mouth is a Slovak indie rock band formed in Sobrance, Slovakia in fall of 2008. The band currently consists of four members: Peter Cinkanic (singer,guitar), Dominik Demcak (drums mainly) and Matus Halko (bass).

The band´s name is taken from the verse: “…your parting mouth, your shining eyes…” cutted from song called “Amy in the White Coat” written by American songwriter Conor Oberst.
