Tau je brněnská kapela, která čerpá sílu a inspiraci
v nejhlubších místech a temných koutech historie stylu,
který se nazýva hard rock.
Vítr pohrávající si s dlouhými vlasy,
obtékající stehna mladé dívky - jedoucí na motorce té nejvyšší kubatury.
Zvířený prach, vůně pneumatik, whiskey a tisíce kilometrů nekončících cest.
Tau je i láska, touha, noční chvíle strávené na oroseném těle nahé slečny.
Smích, miliony vzpomínek, které si díky alkoholu nikdy nevybavíme.
Ale hlavně je to banda chlapů,
která Vás ráda svou tvorbou uvolní,
potěší, rozesměje a snad i zaujme.

Bio a historie
Kapela Tau se zformovala na podzim léta páně 2009, kdy se Eš (bicí), Kothell a Jura (kytary), bývalí členové kapely Soulslavers, rozhodli vytvořit nový projekt. K této sestavě přibyli Standa (basa), Filip (klávesy) a Michal (zpěv) a kapela Tau byla na
světě. Prvním koncertem byla soukromá akce v brněnském klubu Brooklyn, psalo se tehdy 16. 11. 2009. Oficiálně kapela vystoupila před brněnským publikem 22. 1. 2010 na Virgin Night, která se pořádala na Melodce.
Následovala řada koncertů nejen v Brně, ale i v další městech po České i Slovenské republice. Léto 2010 bylo ve znamení nahrávání dema v PlugMag Studiu v Kuřimi, které obsahuje písně Easy Rider, Firebug, Killer's Mind a Leaving the Past.
v lednu 2011 potom kapela vydala EP Jump on the Crow, na kterém jsou k poslechnutí díla Sunny Road, Firebug, Gladiator a The Day She Came. Na jaře 2012 došlo ke změně sestavy, kapelu opustil kytarista Jura, na jeho místo
nastupuje Maggi.
